The book you hold in your hands is the story of a villain’s journey to become one of the good. It contains lore about the content of Corpus Angelus: The Codex of Good. As you read the story with many depictions and descriptions about the ways of the good as well as the ways of evil, you will also find philosophical musings about good and evil and how all the concepts within ties to one another; for one cannot have one without the other.

Our story begins with the retirement of a rogue from the life of an adventurer, who settles in for a peaceful life in the country with her husband, a bard from her party. She feels strange in her new life, like she doesn’t belong in this state of being, but then finds joy and comfort in the children she and her husband have within a few years.

Just as it seems her life from then on will be as mundane as can be, she is beset by tragedy, which sends her on an epic journey. She leaves home and her family behind, and once again has to don her armor and sharpen her weapons as she sets off to find something she has lost, something as dear to her heart as can be.

On this journey, she will question everything including her existence and the very nature of existence itself. Will you see her through her journey?
